Castle Rock

Castle Rock is located about 3 miles from town. Once you reach the rock there is another 1/2 mile walk to the summit.

When the weather is nice it is about a 5 hour round trip. There are 2 shelters on the way out to the rock. Once at the rock you can continue to the New Zealand base or return using the same route you used to reach the rock.
