After Fiordland we drove to Queenstown. Queenstown is located on a beautiful lake. The road from Te Anau takes you along the east shore of the lake. In Queenstown you can take a tour boat across the lake to a working sheep ranch.

The only draw back to Queenstown is that Queenstown is the most touristy city in New Zealand. It is the only place where tipping was expected. Prices are also higher then in other parts of New Zealand. If you come here bring extra money.
