If you like hiking, rain forests, coastal plains or waterfalls head to the west coast. After leaving Queensland we drove to Haast, then up the coast to Fox Glacier, Franz Josef Glacier, Greymouth and Westport. We also visited Pancake Rocks, Lake Matheson, Cape Foulwind and the Dennison Incline. You could spend a summer here and not run out of places to see.
